We generally divide chicken cages into: chicken cages, broiler cages, egg cages, and group-mixed chicken cages and single-feeding cages. The growth and development of broilers is fast, and the feeding period is short. The broiler cage is difficult to solve the technical problems of chicken chest cyst disease and running chicken and chicken. At present, the technical materials for producing broiler cage bottom net have not been fundamentally solved. Most products can only be used. In the later breeding of broilers, the broiler chickens need to be raised in the early stage. The mesh structure and parameters of the broiler cages produced in China are similar to those of the broiler cages. Single-feeding breeder hens and breeder cocks are kept in single cages, but male and female breeder cages are installed on the same cage. Single-feed cage breeders can be artificially inseminated, and the ratio of hens to cocks can be increased to 13:1. And the counting is reliable, easy to access each breeder, so it is more suitable for the original chicken farm to see the difference between the broiler cage and the egg cage:
(1) The density of feeding in the cage. When the cage is not kept, the chicken body changes greatly before and after the broiler is raised. The feeding density is not affected by the weight gain of the later chickens, and is generally 30-38/m2.
(2) For broiler cages that are not caged, it is necessary to consider preventing the running of chickens and easy feeding. It is necessary to use a horizontally adjustable fence of the cage front net or an upper and lower adjustable baffle in front of the cage, and the adjustment range should be larger than that of the chicks.
 (3) In order to improve production efficiency and economic benefits, most of the cages are stacked, or semi-stepped with a large degree of overlap (1/2 to 2/3 deep cage), or a stepped hybrid.
 (4) The number and size of chickens in the cage are different. Generally, the number of chickens in the broiler cage is more than that of the egg cage, usually 10-20 pieces/cage, the length is 800-1000 mm, the width is 500-600 mm, and the height is 300. ~400mm.
(5) The bottom net of the broiler cage. The bottom net of the broiler cage has two characteristics: one is that the bottom net is flat and has no inclination; the other is that the bottom net can prevent the occurrence of chest cysts in addition to the chicken dung. Breeding chicken cages, also known as young chicken cages, are mainly used to raise young hens between 60 and 140 days old. They are usually raised by groups. The cage height is 300-500mm; the length of large cages is generally less than 2m. The cage of young hens is raised. The density is 24~30/m2, and the chickens are 10-40 in each cage. The structural parameters of the mesh are: the spacing of the longitudinal wires of the front net and the top net should be 40~50mm; the spacing of the transverse wires of the top net is 100~200mm. The width of the cage door is 180 to 200 mm. Group feeding mixed breeder cages. A group of hens and a certain proportion of cocks are kept in a large cage. The bottom of the cage is tilted and stretched to the front of the cage to form an egg trough. There are cage doors, sinks and feeding troughs on the front of the cage. Therefore, it is similar to a large size egg cage, except that the distance between the vertical lines of the front net is generally slightly increased to 65mm, and the inclination angle of the bottom net is generally 7° to facilitate the feeding and mating of the cock. The number of chickens in the cage is 20 to 33, and the ratio of male to female is 1:10. The cage feeding density is about 11 to 14/m2. Kinds of chicken cages, breeder cages, mixed cages and single cages. Breeding chicken cages can increase the capacity of the chicken house by l times, increase the labor productivity by 40% to 70%, and improve the feeding conditions.
